Pour célébrer son trentième anniversaire et les vingt ans de la coopérative Méduse, l’Œil de Poisson a donné carte blanche à Samuel Roy-Bois. Pour l’occasion, ce dernier a présenté La pyramide, un projet « multiforme et transdisciplinaire, alliant construction architecturale et système participatif1 1 - Lettre de Samuel Roy-Bois envoyée aux ar­- tistes pour les inviter à participer à La pyramide. ». Réfléchissant aux prémisses qui ont permis d’échafauder cet ambitieux projet, Roy-Bois souligne les 30 années de soutien offertes par l’Œil de Poisson à la communauté artistique tout en interrogeant, de manière plus générale, le rôle et la nature collective des centres d’artistes. Il se penche également sur la notion d’exposition et, du même souffle, sur le processus de sélection des œuvres.
