The year 2023 marks the fortieth year of Pierre Dorion’s career. This is a conversation with the painter in his studio about his impressions and observations of his art career and work overall. Those who know him will enjoy learning more about him, while others will have the pleasure of discovering him.

Philippe Bourdeau: Shall we start at the beginning? In 1983, you presented your first exhibition, Peintures/Paintings, at 3883 Rue Clark, in collaboration with Claude Simard. You were twenty-four years old. Can you please talk a little about how this project came about and where it led you?
