The Fate of Remains
I carry a suitcase from place to place, season after season. This suitcase—sometimes I think I’ve forgotten about it. Yet every time I open it, it’s the studio. The work is where I am. In the suitcase… all sorts of remains. What I used elsewhere, here and there. And what I’m keeping. Traces of experiences that bring me back to that moment, and this one too, and yet another one. Every thing counts. To see better, I cut, trim, reduce to dust. How is it possible to not loose what has been done?
