Compl\u00e9ment imprim\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019exposition <em>In a Post-World: Post-Punk Art Now<\/em> pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e \u00e0 Brooklyn en 2016, <em>Post-Punk Art Now<\/em> est une \u0153uvre en soi dans laquelle textes et images se c\u00f4toient dans un graphisme sobre et \u00e9pur\u00e9. En clin d\u2019\u0153il aux affiches de <em>shows<\/em> de musique, le format monumental des pages invite \u00e0 saisir, aujourd\u2019hui \u00e0 bras-le-corps, le punk et son h\u00e9ritage. Ainsi, au travail des artistes pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 \u00e0 la galerie The Invisible Dog s\u2019ajoute celui d\u2019auteurs qui, par leurs textes, tentent de cerner les enjeux sociaux, mais surtout artistiques d\u2019un mouvement toujours en qu\u00eate de d\u00e9finition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si certains abordent la chose punk par l\u2019histoire, rappelant l\u2019apport de ses instigateurs, comme Guy Debord chez Andrew Hussey, ou Rick Prol et Richard Hamilton chez Claudia \u00c8ve Beauchesne, d\u2019autres proposent des textes \u00e0 la fois th\u00e9oriques et po\u00e9tiques. C\u2019est le cas de Marc-Antoine K.&nbsp;Phaneuf qui, non sans une dose d\u2019humour, classe des objets culturels, plus ou moins r\u00e9cents, selon qu\u2019ils sont <em>post<\/em> ou <em>punk<\/em>&nbsp;: \u00ab\u2009Las Vegas est tr\u00e8s post et Robert Venturi est un punk qui explique le post. Une r\u00e9bellion contre la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, transform\u00e9e en une r\u00e9bellion dans la musique\u2009\u00bb. Ainsi, le passage du punk au post s\u2019effectue dans un rapport diff\u00e9rent \u00e0 la noirceur, dans un d\u00e9sir particulier de n\u00e9gation et de destruction qui emprunte nombre de voies. Par ailleurs, les concepts d\u2019avant-garde ou de postmodernisme ne sont jamais bien loin, comme le rappelle Paul D\u2019Agostino&nbsp;: \u00ab\u2009Mais le punk de jadis [\u2026] tournerait-il, \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re punk, le post punk en ridicule\u2009?\u2009\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Au final, t\u00e9n\u00e8bres et nihilisme, lumi\u00e8re et diversit\u00e9 sont mis en avant par les contrastes entre le noir, le blanc et les couleurs de la publication.
