Les glapissements organiques de la faune et de la flore du fleuve \u00e9manent de la forme modulaire \u00e9voquant les ar\u00eates d\u2019une falaise. En faisant vibrer les parois de l\u2019installation, le son prend forme et transforme la structure aride en antre marin. Le parcours au c\u0153ur de l\u2019\u0153uvre permet donc une immersion multisensorielle qui r\u00e9v\u00e8le la part inconnue d\u2019un monde foisonnant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 l\u2019instar du vrombissement grouillant de ces sonorit\u00e9s, <em>M\u00e9canismes de dessaisissement (rond, carr\u00e9, triangle)<\/em> (2019-2021) impose une lenteur contemplative au diapason de ses sculptures murales cin\u00e9tiques. Le ballet formel \u00e9l\u00e9gant des configurations r\u00e9agit aux d\u00e9placements du spectateur ou de la spectatrice, lui-m\u00eame ou elle-m\u00eame inspir\u00e9\u00b7e par leur mouvement appliqu\u00e9. \u00c9voquant ainsi le cours souple des organismes aquatiques, la g\u00e9om\u00e9trie et les couleurs \u00e9l\u00e9mentaires de l\u2019ensemble sculptural \u00e9tonnent par leur interpr\u00e9tation sch\u00e9matique de l\u2019univers naturel. Les fines rayures qui recouvrent les formes mouvantes rappellent \u00e0 ce titre autant les microsillons des disques vinyle que les ondulations rythmiques d\u2019une brise sur l\u2019eau calme. Ce charme d\u00e9licat de l\u2019\u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8re se manifeste notamment dans l\u2019instant de gr\u00e2ce o\u00f9 les \u00e9l\u00e9ments cin\u00e9tiques se trouvent parfaitement align\u00e9s. Ce moment furtif met en exergue le dispositif vecteur de cette magie. Le m\u00e9canisme ne se d\u00e9robe pas. La lumi\u00e8re, les fils et les supports m\u00e9talliques s\u2019int\u00e8grent aux sculptures. Les coordonn\u00e9es g\u00e9ographiques du titre r\u00e9f\u00e8rent \u00e0 l\u2019espace o\u00f9 s\u2019amalgament les eaux douces et sal\u00e9es du Saint-Laurent, de sorte que l\u2019\u0153uvre agit aussi au confluent des autres propositions du projet. Le plan serr\u00e9 et s\u00e9quenc\u00e9 en miroir magnifie les rides du fleuve coordonn\u00e9es aux traits des sculptures mouvantes, tandis que le son envoutant de l\u2019installation r\u00e9sonne derri\u00e8re le spectateur ou la spectatrice. L\u2019eau ondoyante devient le ventre d\u2019une baleine ou le fond d\u2019un canot, si bien que l\u2019on sillonne ces flots hypnotiques \u00e0 la fois sur et sous la surface.
