Commen\u00e7ons par la fin&nbsp;: des annexes, on retiendra surtout la postface qui aurait d\u00fb s\u2019intituler pr\u00e9face car c\u2019est l\u00e0 que l\u2019on trouve la cl\u00e9 qui permet enfin de sortir du discours circulaire sur Martin T\u00e9treault, son art ne se r\u00e9sumant pas au disque. T\u00e9treault utilise le disque plut\u00f4t comme tremplin. Son mouvement ne va pas du bord vers le centre, mais du centre vers l\u2019infini, comme ces fus\u00e9es qui s\u2019\u00e9lancent du sol et profitent du champ gravitationnel telle une plateforme <em>slingshot<\/em>. Sa palette est beaucoup plus large que la galette de vinyle et c\u2019est une erreur facile que de se restreindre \u00e0 parler microsillons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u2019est d\u2019ailleurs ce qui ressort clairement de la premi\u00e8re partie, l\u2019entrevue Gingras\/T\u00e9treault. L\u2019artiste parle finalement peu de disques&nbsp;: il mentionne parfois un disque en particulier, ou un mode d\u2019assemblage, mais il discute surtout d\u2019id\u00e9es. Il parle d\u2019exp\u00e9riences v\u00e9cues, tent\u00e9es, de rencontres, de possibilit\u00e9s entrevues ou abord\u00e9es. On voit apparaitre, sans surprise, le nom de Andy Warhol, on devine celui de Raymond Gervais. Autant la musique est omnipr\u00e9sente, autant il s\u2019amuse sur d\u2019autres territoires en cr\u00e9ant des rencontres in\u00e9dites, des absences graphiques et des visions cosmiques. \u00ab\u2009De copie en copie, on remonte le temps jusqu\u2019au Big Bang.\u2009\u00bb T\u00e9treault \u00e9voque des projets d\u2019\u00e9criture par sub\u00adstitution et des performances environnementales sous forme d\u2019accumulation d\u2019objets. Il discute avec passion d\u2019\u00e9lastiques trouv\u00e9s sur le sol et de tiges de balais m\u00e9caniques. T\u00e9treault est un dilettante compulsif, un obsessif d\u00e9sinvolte, mais surtout c\u2019est un m\u00e9dium. Ces images font apparaitre l\u2019absence et disparaitre les Beatles, montrent la transformation d\u2019icones tir\u00e9es du quotidien et le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019un humour tranchant\/r\u00e2pant que l\u2019artiste n\u2019h\u00e9site pas \u00e0 retourner contre lui-m\u00eame. Il faut s\u2019y attarder car il y a l\u00e0 plus que des images. Il y a des projets, des objets, des profondeurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La troisi\u00e8me partie du livre est une collection de quatre textes de complices de Martin T\u00e9treault, soit Michel F. C\u00f4t\u00e9, R\u00e9al La Rochelle, Yann Leguay et Carsten Stabenow, ainsi qu\u2019un texte de Nicole Gingras sur le projet <em>Quatuor de tourne-disques<\/em>. Les propositions sont int\u00e9ressantes, habiles \u2013 celle de Stabenow est remarquable \u2013 et fournissent des \u00e9l\u00e9ments biographiques ainsi que des t\u00e9moignages appr\u00e9ciables, bien que parfois anecdotiques. Le livre se termine sur les r\u00e9f\u00e9rences d\u2019usage&nbsp;: chronologie, biographie, remerciements. Mais sans discographie.
