Tels des blocs de marbre extraits d\u2019une carri\u00e8re avec une pr\u00e9cision calcul\u00e9e, ces mots qui constituent l\u2019\u0153uvre <em>Dazibao<\/em> (2022) sont puis\u00e9s dans les ouvrages qui les ont vus naitre : <em>Philippe Garrel en substance<\/em> (Philippe Azoury), <em>Art et multitude : Neuf lettres sur l\u2019art<\/em> (Antonio Negri), <em>Journal<\/em> (Marie Uguay) et <em>L\u2019humaine condition<\/em> (Hannah Arendt). <\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-f9407de8-8790-4c5c-8cf5-3b07e6f829eb\">De concert avec Milan Bernard, commissaire de l\u2019exposition, l\u2019artiste Marie-France Bri\u00e8re d\u00e9voile d\u2019entr\u00e9e de jeu le lexique de son langage artistique. Les mots s\u2019articulent en une constellation qui permet de lire les \u0153uvres sculpturales abstraites peuplant l\u2019espace. C\u2019est non seulement le sens des mots qui est mis de l\u2019avant, mais \u00e9galement leur mat\u00e9rialit\u00e9. Chaque terme est macrophotographi\u00e9 \u00e0 m\u00eame les livres de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 faire apparaitre les imperfections et veinures du papier, qui s\u2019apparentent \u00e9trangement \u00e0 celles du marbre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les sculptures de Bri\u00e8re jouent sur l\u2019\u00e9quilibre entre un minimalisme \u00e9voquant l\u2019<em>arte povera<\/em> et un processus artistique d\u2019enrobage de la mati\u00e8re pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e. <em>Inserts<\/em> (2019-2022) t\u00e9moigne de la mat\u00e9rialit\u00e9 non travaill\u00e9e ni alt\u00e9r\u00e9e du marbre de Carrare (Italie), extrait artisanalement. <em>Blocs erratiques<\/em> (2022), \u0153uvre transitionnelle et proc\u00e9durale, pointe vers une action interrompue, sculptures en fabrication ou encore en d\u00e9placement op\u00e9rant dans l\u2019entredeux, ni \u00ab\u2009ici\u2009\u00bb, ni \u00ab\u2009l\u00e0\u2009\u00bb. Soutenues par du laiton, du schiste ardoisier, du bois et des courroies de levage, les deux \u0153uvres arborent un marbre de Carrare qui semble flotter, comme s\u2019il \u00e9tait suspendu entre le moment de son extraction en 1980 et de sa pr\u00e9sentation en 2022, et l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8vent par le fait m\u00eame au rang d\u2019\u0153uvre d\u2019art. Commentaire sur la r\u00e9ification du marbre comme objet d\u2019art, <em>Esker<\/em> nous invite \u00e0 r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir au statut paradoxal de cette mati\u00e8re&nbsp;: tant\u00f4t r\u00e9v\u00e9r\u00e9e comme mat\u00e9riau noble, tant\u00f4t victime de l\u2019exploitation industrielle. Seule \u0153uvre r\u00e9alis\u00e9e ant\u00e9rieurement \u00e0 l\u2019exposition, <em>Nimber le lieu<\/em> (2004) s\u2019int\u00e9resse pour sa part aux diff\u00e9rents \u00e9tats de la mati\u00e8re min\u00e9rale. La pierre est travaill\u00e9e et polie par endroits et laiss\u00e9e intacte ailleurs. Le pourtour du bloc est enrob\u00e9 d\u2019une couche de fine poussi\u00e8re de marbre effrit\u00e9, tel le fant\u00f4me de la mati\u00e8re devenue autre, m\u00e9tamorphos\u00e9e et sublim\u00e9e. Radicalement orient\u00e9es vers un monde de possibilit\u00e9s inexhaustibles, les \u0153uvres qui constituent <em>La pression aust\u00e9ritaire<\/em> exc\u00e8dent une temporalit\u00e9 qui se voudrait strictement humaine. Le temps du marbre est autre\u2009; il nous d\u00e9passe et nous survit et c\u2019est pour cette raison qu\u2019il rend possible la r\u00e9flexion sur un \u00e0-venir en (re)construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns alignfull is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column
