Le projet, entam\u00e9 le 1<sup>er<\/sup> septembre 2021 par une s\u00e9rie d\u2019ateliers et des r\u00e9sidences dans sept lieux de diffusion de la ville, a suivi son cours \u00e0 l\u2019automne 2022 avec une exposition tenue en certains de ces endroits.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Irrigu\u00e9e par le concept du portage, la question de la cocr\u00e9ation est centrale dans le parcours qui relie VU, l\u2019\u0152il de Poisson, La Bande Vid\u00e9o et la baie vitr\u00e9e de M\u00e9duse. La mise en espace des diff\u00e9rents projets explore les collaborations fortuites n\u00e9es de ces mois de cr\u00e9ation partag\u00e9e. En exploitant ces convergences, l\u2019exposition dessine des trajectoires communes et refl\u00e8te l\u2019incubation de nombreuses filiations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En guise de pr\u00e9ambule au projet, Andr\u00e9e Levesque Sioui et Anne-Marie Proulx croisent le wendat et le fran\u00e7ais pour raconter l\u2019histoire de la Yahndawa\u2019, rivi\u00e8re ancienne qui porte sur son dos une cosmogonie enti\u00e8re. Dans ce texte d\u2019ouverture de l\u2019exposition, les autrices renouv\u00e8lent les trames narratives d\u2019une histoire mill\u00e9naire de la cr\u00e9ation du monde en enchev\u00eatrant l\u2019ici-maintenant et le pass\u00e9. Les artistes du projet en \u00e9crivent la suite. Sur les rivages de la Yahndawa\u2019, les gestes se ressourcent, les mythes prennent vie et les r\u00e9cits se d\u00e9versent \u00e0 grand d\u00e9bit<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans la premi\u00e8re salle de VU, l\u2019installation interactive <em>La parole entrav\u00e9e<\/em> d\u2019Alain-Martin Richard unit les 14 cr\u00e9ateurs et cr\u00e9atrices. Chacun\u00b7e a \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9\u00b7e \u00e0 sculpter et ornementer un b\u00e2ton de parole. Rassembl\u00e9s dans le centre d\u2019artistes, ces b\u00e2tons d\u00e9clenchent, lorsqu\u2019on les touche, des capsules vid\u00e9ographiques laissant entendre les artistes dire ce qui, \u00e0 leurs yeux, favorise ou paralyse le dialogue. Habit\u00e9\u00b7e\u00b7s par des sensibilit\u00e9s multiples, ils et elles r\u00e9fl\u00e9chissent en ch\u0153ur, \u00e9largissent les perspectives. Lorsque Teharihulen Michel Savard et Annie Baillargeon portent la glaise et \u00e9meuvent la terre en lui rendant hommage (<em>L\u00e0 o\u00f9 coulent les ramifications de nos portages<\/em>, 2022)\u2009; qu\u2019A\u00efcha Bastien N\u2019Diaye et Dgino Cantin formulent la r\u00e9volte, la rupture et l\u2019\u00e9clat (<em>Nos c\u0153urs ratchets<\/em>, 2022)\u2009; et qu\u2019Andr\u00e9e Levesque Sioui file la tradition avec \u00c9rika Hagen-Veilleux et Jeffrey Poirier et que se tissent des \u00eatres entre eux (<em>Confluences<\/em>, 2022)\u2009; comme de longues travers\u00e9es, les temporalit\u00e9s s\u2019enchainent et les symboles se r\u00e9veillent. Dans ces passages multiples que donnent \u00e0 voir les \u0153uvres, les artistes se lient aux territoires intimes, r\u00e9els, fictifs et ancestraux. Mouvants, ces projets \u00e9tudient les seuils du monde. N\u00e9cessaire, la proposition de <em>Yahndawa\u2019<\/em> permet d\u2019envisager de nouvelles postures o\u00f9 entretenir l\u2019humilit\u00e9. D\u2019une communaut\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019autre, un travail de reliance fa\u00e7onne des relations neuves, lib\u00e9r\u00e9es, complices.
