La pr\u00e9sentation commissari\u00e9e par Jean-Michel Quirion a \u00e9t\u00e9 l\u2019occasion pour lui d\u2019exp\u00e9rimenter l\u2019influence des \u00e9clairages artificiels et naturels sur le corps et l\u2019esprit de deux mani\u00e8res : d\u2019abord en modifiant des photographies et des vid\u00e9os r\u00e9alis\u00e9es par autrui, puis en r\u00e9alisant une extraction du rendu lumineux afin de cr\u00e9er des atmosph\u00e8res expographiques immersives.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans la m\u00e9moire comme dans les \u0153uvres, la lumi\u00e8re agit tel un catalyseur narratif permettant tant\u00f4t de voir, tant\u00f4t d\u2019imaginer. Depuis une quinzaine d\u2019ann\u00e9es, l\u2019artiste en sonde l\u2019impact sensoriel et affectif. R\u00e9colt\u00e9es dans des brocantes, les 11 images anonymes qui constituent la s\u00e9rie <em>Fantasmes color\u00e9s (les plages) <\/em>r\u00e9v\u00e8lent une uniformit\u00e9 qui engendre un arch\u00e9type des vacances id\u00e9ales. Dans chacune, le ciel occupe plus de la moiti\u00e9 de l\u2019espace, l\u2019ensoleillement ne faisant plus qu\u2019un avec les couleurs satur\u00e9es irr\u00e9alistes g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9es par Pocreau. L\u2019artiste fait sien ce souvenir immortalis\u00e9 un beau jour par un ou une touriste dont l\u2019identit\u00e9 est d\u00e9sormais perdue. Les proc\u00e9d\u00e9s num\u00e9riques de modification de la colorim\u00e9trie renforcent l\u2019onirisme des sc\u00e8nes. Les formats carr\u00e9s, plac\u00e9s au mur sur un m\u00eame axe horizontal, contribuent \u00e0 augmenter leur aspect illusoire et uniformis\u00e9. Leurs gammes chromatiques vibrantes, compos\u00e9es de turquoises, de verts \u00e9meraude et de violets, sont reproduites dans des installations in situ. L\u2019\u0153uvre <em>La perc\u00e9e<\/em> recouvre la fen\u00eatre de la salle d\u2019exposition. Reprenant le principe du cal\u00e9idoscope, elle d\u00e9cline les lumi\u00e8res de Gatineau, visibles depuis l\u2019int\u00e9rieur d\u2019AXEN\u00c9O7. Les intensit\u00e9s variables des quatre dispositifs verticaux minimalistes de <em>Ce qu\u2019il en reste<\/em> rendent palpables les \u00e9tendues diaphanes des diapositives dans lesquelles les visiteurs et visiteuses semblent nager envelopp\u00e9\u00b7es par un \u00e9crin de couleurs. L\u2019espace tout entier est transform\u00e9. Pocreau invite \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper une conscience sensorielle, \u00e0 explorer l\u2019union du corps avec la lumi\u00e8re. Ces transformations g\u00e9n\u00e8rent des corps \u00e9blouissants rendus quasi anonymes. La luminescence contr\u00f4l\u00e9e \u00e0 son paroxysme rappelle la pr\u00e9cision des manipulations des <em>plages<\/em>\u2009; elles partagent \u00e9galement leur incitation \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9vasion et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9moi. L\u2019intimit\u00e9 des d\u00e9sirs de libert\u00e9, les fantasmes sensuels et sensoriels s\u2019incarnent.
