Ces \u0153uvres, qui nous accueillent \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur puis \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur du Frac Alsace et forcent notre attention, utilisent pourtant un langage qui ne nous est pas compr\u00e9hensible. Est pos\u00e9 d\u2019embl\u00e9e le propos de l\u2019exposition, remarquable par sa d\u00e9licatesse et sa puissance : mettre l\u2019\u00eatre humain en retrait, observer d\u2019autres formes de vie, sauvages, pour se laisser enseigner et transformer par elles.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Le pistage est un mode d\u2019enqu\u00eate adopt\u00e9 par plusieurs artistes. Pour <em>Plan<\/em> <em>B Animal<\/em> (2023), Katrin Gattinger et Anna Guill\u00f3 ont recens\u00e9, dans un milieu forestier et agricole dont la localisation est gard\u00e9e secr\u00e8te, les lieux portant la trace d\u2019activit\u00e9s animales ou humaines. Une cartographie \u00e0 la l\u00e9gende inhabituelle, associ\u00e9e \u00e0 de tr\u00e8s beaux dessins d\u2019observation, donne \u00e0 voir les doubles usages d\u2019un m\u00eame territoire, avec les interactions recherch\u00e9es ou fuies. Les emplacements des \u00ab\u2009terriers\u2009\u00bb, des \u00ab\u2009zones de frottement<em>\u2009\u00bb<\/em> ou encore des \u00ab\u2009jacuzzis \u00e0 sangliers<em>\u2009\u00bb<\/em> composent avec le trac\u00e9 de \u00ab\u2009routes\u2009\u00bb, de \u00ab\u2009canaux<em>\u2009\u00bb<\/em> et de \u00ab\u2009lignes \u00e9lectriques<em>\u2009\u00bb<\/em>. Les \u00ab\u2009d\u00e9g\u00e2ts sur les cultures<em>\u2009\u00bb<\/em> s\u2019observent en lisi\u00e8re de \u00ab\u2009for\u00eat\u2009\u00bb, au pied des \u00ab\u2009miradors de chasse<em>\u2009\u00bb<\/em>. Le r\u00e9seau dense et complexe form\u00e9 par les indicateurs de pr\u00e9sence animale entre les lignes artificielles r\u00e9v\u00e8le un monde intens\u00e9ment vivant devant jouer de discr\u00e9tion. L\u2019exposition m\u00eale agr\u00e9ablement deux approches \u2013 des \u0153uvres au format documentaire, voire volontiers didactique, et d\u2019autres plus po\u00e9tiques ou formelles \u2013, toutes d\u2019une extr\u00eame sensibilit\u00e9. Ainsi, Suzanne Husky pr\u00e9sente le tr\u00e8s puissant film <em>Le son d\u2019une nouvelle cascade<\/em> (2022), o\u00f9 la naturaliste Patti Smith t\u00e9moigne de sa relation affective et personnelle avec les castors, accompagn\u00e9 d\u2019une aquarelle d\u00e9crivant le pouvoir r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rateur de leurs barrages sur un environnement d\u00e9grad\u00e9 et la possible transmission de cette pratique du castor \u00e0 l\u2019\u00eatre humain.
