Dans la cuisine d\u2019une maison de la m\u00e9dina de T\u00e9touan, au Maroc, un petit groupe de femmes se retrouve. Hors du contexte de travail o\u00f9 elles ont l\u2019habitude de se c\u00f4toyer \u00e0 d\u00e9cortiquer des crevettes, elles s\u2019assoient autour d\u2019une table et se mettent \u00e0 discuter. Entre leurs mains expertes d\u00e9filent ici aussi les pr\u00e9cieux crustac\u00e9s, dont elles r\u00e9cup\u00e8rent, cette fois, avec beaucoup de soin, les yeux, seule partie non exploit\u00e9e dans l\u2019industrie agroalimentaire. Cuits, s\u00e9ch\u00e9s et peints au vernis \u00e0 ongles, ces milliers d\u2019yeux prendront place \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9rieur de faux souvenirs de vacances, parodies de bouteilles de sable color\u00e9 du d\u00e9sert du Sahara, o\u00f9 ils dessinent un motif m\u00ealant le drapeau marocain et celui des Pays-Bas. <\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Une fa\u00e7on conjointement ludique et grin\u00e7ante d\u2019\u00e9voquer un p\u00e9riple aussi aberrant sur le plan humain qu\u2019\u00e9cologique&nbsp;: chaque ann\u00e9e, des tonnes de crustac\u00e9s sont d\u00e9cortiqu\u00e9s \u00e0 pr\u00e8s de 3&nbsp;000&nbsp;kilom\u00e8tres de leur lieu de p\u00eache en Europe avant de repartir dans l\u2019autre sens pour \u00eatre consomm\u00e9s, ironiquement, par des gourmets persuad\u00e9s de d\u00e9guster un produit \u00ab&nbsp;local&nbsp;\u00bb.
