Mais l\u2019exposition de Lola Gonz\u00e0lez arrive \u00e0 point nomm\u00e9, car impossible de faire comme si de rien n\u2019\u00e9tait en d\u00e9couvrant ses \u0153uvres.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es, l\u2019artiste r\u00e9alise des vid\u00e9os o\u00f9 le langage, verbal ou corporel, occupe une place pr\u00e9dominante, m\u00eame s\u2019il s\u2019agit de langues invent\u00e9es ou de chor\u00e9es inqui\u00e9tantes. Dans ses dystopies, les personnages semblent souvent esseul\u00e9s au milieu de paysages fantomatiques ou d\u00e9vast\u00e9s&nbsp;: dans <em>Tonnerres<\/em> (2022), un drone moucharde depuis le ciel une bande de jeunes gens dont les corps sont parfois pris de mouvements incontr\u00f4lables. <em>Les anges<\/em> (2017) met en sc\u00e8ne deux hommes qui rampent au c\u0153ur d\u2019une ville d\u00e9sert\u00e9e et qu\u2019un troisi\u00e8me t\u00e2che de relever&nbsp;: ils se d\u00e9placent avec peine tandis que leur compagnon les soutient dans leur lent apprentissage. Les lieux que filme Gonz\u00e0lez, souvent d\u2019une grande beaut\u00e9 (la vall\u00e9e de la Roya, le d\u00e9sert californien&#8230;), sont ass\u00e9ch\u00e9s de tout substrat touristique. La contemplation est ailleurs \u2013 dans le regard des deux hommes de la vid\u00e9o <em>Les anges<\/em>, amen\u00e9s \u00e0 s\u2019arr\u00eater devant un coucher de soleil, par exemple. Mais cette concentration n\u2019est pas l\u00e0 pour servir des int\u00e9r\u00eats photog\u00e9niques&nbsp;: si les personnages observent hors champ avec autant d\u2019intensit\u00e9, c\u2019est aussi pour incarner avec une rare puissance la solastalgie face \u00e0 ces espaces. La r\u00e9sistance face \u00e0 la destruction de la R\u00e9publique passe par la documentation, le r\u00e9cit, mais aussi l\u2019envie de faire ensemble et de retrouver de possibles communaut\u00e9s par la discussion et la conversation \u2013 y compris dans le conflit. \u00ab\u2009Oui, ce n\u2019est qu\u2019une fiction. [&#8230;] Un d\u00e9sir de trouver comment dig\u00e9rer ce qu\u2019il se passe\u2009\u00bb, dit une petite fille face cam\u00e9ra. Bien s\u00fbr, le sous-titrage pourrait \u00eatre diff\u00e9rent, mais \u00e0 nous d\u2019embrasser ces nouvelles significations donn\u00e9es au langage, plut\u00f4t que de nous en laisser imposer de plus brutales et plus mensong\u00e8res. Une derni\u00e8re vid\u00e9o, <em>La chute<\/em> (2011), r\u00e9sume habilement tout cela&nbsp;: un personnage vu de dos, face \u00e0 l\u2019oc\u00e9an, s\u2019affaisse lentement sur le sable apr\u00e8s avoir un temps contempl\u00e9 le paysage.
