Ce jaune vif semble artificiel \u2013 il nous donne l\u2019impression de d\u00e9ambuler dans un espace \u00e9trange, improbable, inatteignable, comme si nous \u00e9tions dans un r\u00eave.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce tapis \u00e0 poil long est un territoire o\u00f9 sont dispos\u00e9s de multiples \u00e9l\u00e9ments relatifs \u00e0 l\u2019imaginaire de l\u2019agriculture&nbsp;: constructions diverses de panneaux et de briques de myc\u00e9lium, poteau de cl\u00f4ture sous plexiglas, piles d\u2019hosties et carafe de vin rouge, miche de pain en bronze, farine, sacs de grains de bl\u00e9, etc. Au c\u0153ur de l\u2019installation, comme un point de fuite, un grand cercle de myc\u00e9lium, mati\u00e8re de la famille des champignons apte \u00e0 se r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rer continuellement, nous rappelle que la nature se cultive aussi elle-m\u00eame. \u00c9voquant tant\u00f4t la silhouette d\u2019un moulin, tant\u00f4t celle du soleil, ce cercle compl\u00e8te le paysage sugg\u00e9r\u00e9 par le tapis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Autre\/Fois<\/em> investit \u00e0 merveille l\u2019espace singulier du centre d\u2019art, la salle d\u2019audience d\u2019un ancien palais de justice&nbsp;: les ventilateurs au plafond rappellent les moulins \u00e0 vent, tandis que les trappes de fonte encastr\u00e9es \u00e9voquent les caveaux \u00e0 grains et \u00e0 l\u00e9gumes d\u2019autrefois. L\u2019espace dans lequel l\u2019artiste nous invite \u00e0 d\u00e9ambuler sous-entend la fragilit\u00e9 de la nature soumise aux exc\u00e8s des volont\u00e9s humaines et commerciales. Imitant le cabinet d\u2019une herboriste, l\u2019installation met en sc\u00e8ne une table de travail, un \u00e9talage d\u2019\u00e9chantillons de plantes et de fleurs ainsi qu\u2019une s\u00e9rie de cadres de bois carr\u00e9s ou rectangulaires o\u00f9 des plantes sont suspendues pour s\u00e9cher. Nous sommes invit\u00e9\u00b7es \u00e0 poursuivre certains de ces tableaux. Ces jardins suspendus proposent des compositions florales abstraites qui \u00e9voquent le paysage, \u00e0 mi-chemin entre le tableau bidimensionnel \u00e0 contempler et l\u2019objet tridimensionnel r\u00e9sidence, sillonnant paysages environnants, champs et battures, pour y cueillir ses mat\u00e9riaux. L\u2019ensemble des plantes amass\u00e9es s\u2019apparentent aux adventices, des fleurs que l\u2019artiste r\u00e9pertorie dans une collection de 15&nbsp;pots dispos\u00e9s sur deux tablettes&nbsp;: v\u00e9lar fausse-girofl\u00e9e, pissenlit, tr\u00e8fle des pr\u00e9s, julienne des dames, achill\u00e9e millefeuille, salsifis des pr\u00e9s, fucus spiral\u00e9, gesse des pr\u00e9s, pois de mer, myosotis, marguerite, vesce jargeau. Ce d\u00e9sherbage performatif nous permet de constater que ce qui est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme de mauvaises herbes est la mati\u00e8re m\u00eame, la texture des paysages kamouraskois. Ces fleurs abondent et se reproduisent sans n\u00e9cessiter la pr\u00e9sence humaine, \u00e0 l\u2019instar du myc\u00e9lium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les deux expositions prolongent le paysage environnant jusque dans les salles, le d\u00e9composant dans une po\u00e9sie visuelle et mat\u00e9rielle. Un dialogue se d\u00e9veloppe au cours de la visite, chaque fen\u00eatre, tout comme la porte principale laiss\u00e9e ouverte, permettant d\u2019entrevoir la splendeur du fleuve et des champs, le moteur initial et naturel des \u0153uvres de B\u00e9rub\u00e9 et de Baril.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:15px\">Form\u00e9 en histoire de l\u2019art \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al, Marc-Antoine&nbsp;K.
