A Daily Practice<\/em>"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse\">[In French]<br><br>Julie Pellegrin, critique d\u2019art et commissaire d\u2019expositions, vient de faire paraitre un recueil compos\u00e9 de huit entrevues avec neuf artistes, toutes int\u00e9grant la performance \u00e0 leur pratique. N\u00e9es essentiellement dans les ann\u00e9es 1970, elles ne sont pas rattach\u00e9es \u00e0 la cat\u00e9gorie contestable de \u00ab\u2009l\u2019\u00e9mergence\u2009\u00bb, mais abordent leur travail avec un regard r\u00e9trospectif et r\u00e9flexif. \u00c0 chaque entretien, Pellegrin invente sa m\u00e9thode, et ses questions donnent lieu \u00e0 des pens\u00e9es sp\u00e9cifiques, \u00e0 partir de situations se rapportant aux liens qu\u2019elle entretient avec les artistes : correspondance \u00e9crite avec Loreto Mart\u00ednez Troncoso, marche en montagne avec Gis\u00e8le Vienne, journal documentant les exp\u00e9rimentations de Catalina Insignares et Myriam Lefkowitz\u2026<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Si l\u2019ouvrage, n\u2019\u00e9tant pas un pr\u00e9cis pour d\u00e9couvrir la performance, s\u2019adresse d\u00e9j\u00e0 aux initi\u00e9\u00b7es, il regorge de ressources pr\u00e9cieuses pour envisager les enjeux de cette discipline aujourd\u2019hui, chose plut\u00f4t rare dans le champ des publications francophones. Son introduction, sa conclusion, sa bibliographie comme ses appels de notes sont autant d\u2019outils th\u00e9oriques n\u00e9cessaires, au-del\u00e0 de son but premier, \u00e0 savoir la constitution d\u2019une archive de paroles d\u00e9passant la tendance \u00e0 l\u2019hypervisibilit\u00e9 d\u00e9plor\u00e9e par B\u00e9atrice Balcou dans l\u2019entretien r\u00e9alis\u00e9 avec elle. On n\u2019y verra d\u2019ailleurs pas d\u2019images des \u0153uvres, Kapwani Kiwanga estimant pour sa part que \u00ab\u2009la performance ne peut pas \u00eatre consomm\u00e9e \u00e0 distance\u2009\u00bb. S\u2019il fallait trouver un point commun entre toutes les artistes, ce serait peut-\u00eatre celui-ci&nbsp;: une certaine radicalit\u00e9 dans les engagements qui s\u2019abstiendrait de tout dogmatisme dans leurs performances. Alors, de nouvelles pens\u00e9es sur la performance se consolident, autour de sujets parfois relativement \u00e9loign\u00e9s de ceux de la performance historique, comme le soin ou les \u00e9motions, et avec des modes d\u2019activation tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rents \u2013 rituel, hypnose, transe, conf\u00e9rence\u2026 Avec toutes ces artistes, Pellegrin d\u00e9veloppe une pens\u00e9e autour de la \u00ab\u2009non-performance\u2009\u00bb, prise au sens non pas d\u2019un refus de performer, mais plut\u00f4t d\u2019un refus de performer selon certaines normes&nbsp;: choisir, donc, \u00ab\u2009la d\u00e9possession, la non-expressivit\u00e9, la non-productivit\u00e9, la sous-exposition, l\u2019illisibilit\u00e9 ou le silence choisis\u2009\u00bb comme \u00ab\u2009formes d\u2019agentivit\u00e9 critiques et cr\u00e9atives\u2009\u00bb. Avec humilit\u00e9, l\u2019autrice tisse une r\u00e9flexion antiautoritaire, privil\u00e9giant le dialogue et l\u2019amiti\u00e9, au risque parfois d\u2019un certain herm\u00e9tisme, que l\u2019on oublie volontiers face \u00e0 des d\u00e9clarations \u00e0 m\u00e9diter \u2013 et avec joie&nbsp;: \u00ab\u2009Chez moi, explique Pauline Curnier Jardin, la pulsion est \u00e0 la fois un sujet et une m\u00e9thode.
