Cette exposition collaborative entre la Salle Alfred-Pellan, \u00e0 Laval, et la Maison abandonn\u00e9e [Villa Cameline], \u00e0 Nice, pr\u00e9sente des \u0153uvres qui soul\u00e8vent l\u2019\u00e9pineuse question de l\u2019effondrement. <\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Les huit artistes se positionnent sur une sorte de ligne du temps&nbsp;: l\u2019avant, le pendant et l\u2019apr\u00e8s de la fin du monde. Ce fil rouge temporel nous plonge dans une d\u00e9ambulation onirique sur fond d\u2019apocalypse. Porte d\u2019entr\u00e9e de l\u2019exposition, l\u2019horloge de Tom Barbagli nous confronte \u00e0 l\u2019id\u00e9e de temporalit\u00e9 et d\u2019\u00e9quilibre pr\u00e9caire. Le m\u00e9canisme constitu\u00e9 de roches suspendues, d\u2019engrenages et de poulies agit \u00e0 la fois comme un avertissement et un appel \u00e0 pr\u00e9server un ordre naturel menac\u00e9. Cette installation ne mesure pas le temps, mais souligne l\u2019urgence d\u2019agir. Parmi elles, <em>Hello World<\/em> (2024) d\u2019\u00c9gl\u00e9 Vismant\u00e9, imprim\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019une substance photosensible issue de plantes, dont la particularit\u00e9 r\u00e9side dans sa d\u00e9gradabilit\u00e9. Chlo\u00e9 Beaulac nous invite quant \u00e0 elle \u00e0 r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e0 notre responsabilit\u00e9 individuelle dans la destruction du monde \u00e0 travers des photographies o\u00f9 apparait un \u00eatre humain en feu. Cr\u00e9\u00e9e \u00e0 partir de photos d\u2019un voyageur ou une voyageuse anonyme, cette s\u00e9rie pr\u00e9sente des d\u00e9cors de d\u00e9sert aride avec un personnage en combustion. Inqui\u00e9tante par son immobilit\u00e9, la figure enflamm\u00e9e nous fait face et nous d\u00e9fie. L\u2019exposition met en lumi\u00e8re l\u2019impact sociopolitique et syst\u00e9mique n\u00e9faste de l\u2019\u00eatre humain. C\u2019est ce que rappellent avec beaucoup de justesse <em>Les \u00e9ternelles<\/em> (2023) d\u2019Aur\u00e9lien Mauplot, installation documentaire autour des essais nucl\u00e9aires dans le monde entre 1945 et 2017. L\u2019\u0153uvre souligne la destruction, par les grandes puissances occidentales, d\u2019habitats longtemps \u00e9pargn\u00e9s par l\u2019activit\u00e9 humaine. L\u2019exposition r\u00e9ussit \u00e0 \u00e9viter l\u2019\u00e9cueil d\u2019un alarmisme paralysant tout en envoyant un message \u00e9cologique clair. Le travail commissarial fait preuve de p\u00e9dagogie gr\u00e2ce aux cartels longs qui pr\u00e9sentent le contexte de chaque \u0153uvre, ce qui rend accessible le discours \u00e9cologiste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une chose devient alors \u00e9vidente&nbsp;: l\u2019art peut constater, doit avertir le public et stimuler son agentivit\u00e9. <em>L\u2019\u00e9ternit\u00e9 si possible<\/em> n\u2019offre pas de r\u00e9ponses faciles, mais un espace pour envisager des solutions collectives r\u00e9alistes.
