La cohabitation de la sculpture, de la photographie noir et blanc, d\u2019un po\u00e8me et de l\u2019installation r\u00e9investit en effet le principe de performativit\u00e9 des entit\u00e9s invoqu\u00e9es \u2013 spectres, r\u00e9cits effac\u00e9s, fictionnels ou r\u00e9els, de femmes ou d\u2019esclaves \u2013, lesquelles sont r\u00e9unies dans un souci d\u2019\u00e9vocation plus que de restitution. Des cristaux sous cimaise de verre portant le titre <em>No Human Without Mercy<\/em> (2024) s\u2019apparentent \u00e0 ceux utilis\u00e9s dans les rituels, qui peuvent servir \u00e0 la protection des esprits contre les \u00e9nergies n\u00e9gatives ou encore \u00e0 la gu\u00e9rison ou \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9vation spirituelle par l\u2019invocation d\u2019entit\u00e9s. La pi\u00e8ce maitresse de l\u2019exposition est toutefois l\u2019installation <em>To Score the Marvellous\/Chorus<\/em> (2023). Cette installation faite de deux \u00e9crans lumineux dispos\u00e9s dans d\u2019immenses cadres de contreplaqu\u00e9 montre un corps sans visage allong\u00e9 dans un lit d\u00e9fait&nbsp;\u2013 de dos pour l\u2019un et de face pour l\u2019autre&nbsp;\u2013 de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 r\u00e9unir deux moments distincts. La juxtaposition rapproch\u00e9e cr\u00e9e une distorsion fictive qui nous parait comme un songe invraisemblable. L\u2019impossibilit\u00e9 de toute reconstitution du corps met d\u2019ailleurs notre regard vacillant en activit\u00e9 constante. C\u2019est le cas des \u0153uvres <em>Stutter&nbsp;1<\/em> et <em>Stutter&nbsp;2<\/em> (2022), portrait en deux temps d\u2019un jeu d\u2019enfant dans lequel le jeune personnage tant\u00f4t se cache, tant\u00f4t se d\u00e9voile sous une longue tenue d\u2019un velours noir luisant.
