Jos\u00e9 Luis Torres\u2019s artistic practice revolves primarily around how meanings and simple gestures change in dialogue with modest objects and materials from our everyday environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presentation strategies play an important role in Torres\u2019s creative process. The spontaneous, open, and partial configurations of his in-situ pieces tend to involve architecture. Through his constructions, interdisciplinarity is evident in the juxtaposition of sculptural notions with architectural concepts. In terms of reception, the visitor is invited to observe, explore and physically experience the work, as this is on a human scale. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
