Titled <em>Las Vegas<\/em>, Beauregard\u2019s images are a killjoy, revealing nothing behind the scenes but rather catching uncanny \u00adatmospheres in the light apparatuses invented by the dwellings\u2019 inhabitants. Emptied of any human presence, the light shows look like as many vanitas \u00adwithout qualities, like stardust. Christophe Beauregard lives and works in Paris. Since his <em>Chirurgies<\/em> series (2005) (<em>Manuel d\u2019esth\u00e9tique<\/em>, \u00c9ditions Filigranes), he has been working on various forms of staging in photography. In 2008 he published <em>Semantic Tramps<\/em> (\u00c9ditions Filigranes) and <em>Technomades<\/em> (<em>Europe-\u00c9chelle 27<\/em>, \u00c9ditions Trans photographic press\/Signatures).
