Fabien Verschaere offers a world inhabited by hybrid and invented creatures and monsters\u2014the product of his unbridled imagination. Drawing from the circus, fairy tales, comic strips as well as his own fantasy world, his inspiration manifests itself in a large organized chaos where sex, death, the limit between normality and madness are addressed. Fabien Verschaere lives and works in Paris. A graduate of the \u00c9cole nationale sup\u00e9rieure des beaux-arts in Paris in 2000, he his represented by Galerie Enrico Navarra in Paris. He received a Dena Foundation Award in 2000, and his work was presented at the Centre culturel \u00adfran\u00e7ais in Turin (En outre<\/em>, 2001), the Centre de cr\u00e9ation contemporaine in Tours (No Idea<\/em>, 2002), the Palais de Tokyo in Paris (Notre histoire<\/em>, 2006). He participated in 2009 in two \u00adimportant group \u00adexhibitions: \u201cLa Force de l\u2019Art 02\u201d at the Grand Palais and \u201cVraoum\u201d at La Maison Rouge, both in Paris. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
