Becoming Fahrenheit 451 <\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t you know there is a war on, moron<\/em> (2007) and On the Other Side<\/em> (2008) are part of a generic project entitled \u201cBecoming Fahrenheit 451\u201d that I\u2019ve been working on since 2007, based on Ray Bardbury\u2019s book Fahrenheit 451<\/em> and Fran\u00e7ois Truffaut\u2019s film adaptation. Meticulously exploring Bradbury\u2019s work in order to memorize it, I\u2019m experiencing a real mise en abyme of the novel. In this sci-fi piece, books are \u00adforbidden and a community of Book People is trying to resist by keeping alive the memory of their stories. Through this memorizing experience, I\u2019ve built a world of photographs, videos, performances, writings, readings and installations where the narration of this experience intersects with Fahrenheit 451<\/em>\u2019s own story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
