La performance est pour moi un art de la pr\u00e9sence et du pr\u00e9sent. Le plus difficile dans cet art action ce n’est pas de faire, mais de chercher l’\u00e9quilibre entre la volont\u00e9 de faire et l’\u00e9tat de ne rien faire, de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 ce que les choses arrivent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c9crire sur la performance, c’est tenter d’\u00e9chapper son id\u00e9alisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La performance est pertinente selon la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de ceux qui la pratiquent. Elle devient le fait d’une exp\u00e9rience concr\u00e8te, et cela suffit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comment la d\u00e9finir succinctement ? On dit qu’il y a autant de performances que de gens qui la pratiquent. Mais peu importe, que le propos soit politique ou non, que la structure soit minimale ou charg\u00e9e d’une intention d’exc\u00e8s, je sais quand je suis en pr\u00e9sence d’une perfo. C’est quand la mise en situation est sans pr\u00e9tention parce qu’elle est lib\u00e9r\u00e9e de toute emphase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ce qui la diff\u00e9rencie, entre autres, c’est le rapport \u00e0 l’intime et \u00e0 la dur\u00e9e. Les deux sont li\u00e9s \u00e0 une disponibilit\u00e9 d’\u00eatre en relation avec soi, les autres et le lieu. Ce qui m’\u00e9vite de devenir l’ex\u00e9cutante de choses apprises m\u00eame dans une structure et une intention. \u00catre avec le temps id\u00e9alement plusieurs instants. Comme une succession de zones pivots aux multiples temporalit\u00e9s qui fait que j’arr\u00eate quand c’est fini.<\/p>\n
