Si le terme déstabilisant sied particulièrement bien à l’œuvre de Patrick Bérubé, il prend tout son sens dans l’installation Embarras / Débarras, présentée à Skol du 18 novembre au 17 décembre 2005.

Touchant également à la photographie et à la vidéo, Bérubé, jeune artiste montréalais, s’adonne surtout à l’installation, créant des milieux familiers et intrigants à la fois. En présentant au premier abord une galerie vide, l’artiste pousse le visiteur à se laisser aller à sa curiosité, prenant le risque que celui-ci rebrousse chemin, rebuté par l’apparente absence d’œuvre.
